Red Velvet Hand-Crocheted Patchwork Cardigan – One of a Kind
This one-of-a-kind cardigan is hand-crocheted using secondhand and thrifted yarns in rich, warm tones of cherry red, rust, maroon, rose, and plum. The sleeves flare out slightly at the cuffs, with contrasting color pops in mustard, gray, and coral. A hand-braided tie at the front allows for flexible styling—wear it loose and open or tied snug across the chest.
With its bold striping, peek-through mesh stitchwork, and freeform assembly, this piece brings serious personality while honoring slow fashion principles. No two color panels are the same, and the texture variations throughout the body and sleeves make it as playful as it is cozy.
This cardigan took over 17 hours to make, using freeform crochet techniques and hand-assembled finishing—with quality, love, and intention stitched into every detail. It has a boxy, oversized feel and is meant to be worn layered and with ease.

As both a creative and an entrepreneur, I want to acknowledge and emphasize the extreme nature of textile waste and global consumption habits. It is with this in mind that I focus on sourcing yarn and materials exclusively from second-hand and thrift stores to take advantage of and promote the value of recycling and reworking textile waste.
By doing so, I am developing and investing in a sustainable business model celebrating handmade, authentic knitwear.
I work to create pieces that add color and spunk into your life through ever-evolving styles and designs, celebrating the value of unconventional slow fashion🕺🏼 All pieces are one-of-a-kind and handknit by Quoya, Northern California Fiber Artist🧶🌟

A note on pricing: With materials & time spent each piece is priced as affordably as I can manage. Thank you for your understanding & please message me with any questions. I truly appreciate your support. Much love. 💛
